College Prep Camp - Non-Appalachian Region - Transylvania University
Transylvanias College Prep Camp will give campers an opportunity to sample college life while gaining academic knowledge and learning how to improve their scores on standardized tests. Morning and afternoon sessions will explore different academic areas through lectures given by Transylvania faculty and staff members. These will often be the same lectures you might receive as a Transylvania student. Evening sessions will help prepare campers for the ACT and SAT exams. They will receive two evenings of math preparation and two evenings of verbal preparation. During camp, participants live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet services will not be available in the dorm rooms. To be eligible for this camp, campers must have a grade average of at least a B and be recommended by two individuals - one of them a teacher or counselor who verifies your grades and confirms that you are interested in and would benefit from the camps program. Summer Prospect Camp - U-M Soccer Complex
The Prospect Camp is designed for those wishing to learn more about playing at the collegiate level. This camp will provide the serious soccer player with the understanding of what it will take for success at the collegiate level. Coaching staff is made up of current University of Michigan Soccer staff and are assisted by current members of the team. A number of other local/regional/national college coaches will also assist as a coach or will be in attendance to watch and evaluate talent. As part of this camp we also offer a presentation from Coach Daley and the Admissions Department here at The University of Michigan. This presentation will undoubtedly provide useful and resourceful information on the college admissions process, the daily lifestyle of a student-athlete and college financial aid. 734-647-1201

Drama Club: Really Rosie and the Nutshell Kids - The Philadelphia School
This year, The Drama Club will be putting on a production of Maurice Sendak and Carole Kings REALLY ROSIE. It follows a typical summer day in the life of the Nutshell Kids, a group of neighborhood friends, including Pierre, Alligator, Johnny, Chef Jeff from the Nutshell Library books, and Rosie and Kathy from The Sign on Rosies Door. Rosie — the self-proclaimed sassiest kid on her block of Brooklyns Avenue P and based on a girl Sendak knew as a child growing up in Brooklyn — entertains everyone by directing and starring in an Oscar-winning movie based on the exciting, dramatic, funny (and slightly exaggerated) story of her life. Drama Club meetings will be run both as rehearsals (starting with warm-ups, followed by blocking, running of scenes, vocal work, and choreography) AND prop, set, & costume design and/or painting and building time. Members will work together to come up with the design of the show and use club time to execute some set and prop pieces, as well as costume pieces. Camp Summer Days - Week 5 - Wigwam Creek Middle School
This program is for children ages 6 to 12 and runs Mon through Fri from 8am to 5pm. Camp locations: Wigwam Creek Middle School & LP Rec. Center. This camp includes arts/crafts, sports, games, daily swimming & movies. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided. Discounts are available for families enrolling multiple children. The first week of camp which you register for, the FULL camp payment is due at the time of registration. All other weeks which you register, a $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space in that week of camp.
