This course reviews and assesses mastery of the high school core skills as applied to one fundamental topic from each of the Level 2 trimesters. From the physics trimester the topic is projectile motion, from the chemistry trimester the topic is stoichiometry, and from the biology trimester the topic is natural selection. Students who pass this course have sufficient mastery of the high school core skills in science to enroll in upper level science electives. 615-383-0661

Boys Mountain Bike Camp Week 6 - Knott Hall
Like riding your bike in the woods? Want to take your riding to the next level? Whether you ride all the time or just like to play in the woods, join our staff for a week of mountain bike riding at Loyola and area trails. Climb better and descend with more control. Learn how to shift more efficiently, brake properly and ride with more confidence. Additionally, we will cover basic bicycle and trail maintenance and develop an appreciation for the outdoors in a fun and safe environment. *While riding is our main focus in this camp, we realize that we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and should there be inclement weather additional activities may be deemed more appropriate. Mr. Keeney II and Mr. Glorioso have a combined 37 years experience in middle and high school teaching and run the Loyola Climbing Club. Minecraft 3D Adventures– Ages 6-8 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
(no experience needed) Think Minecraft is just a video game? Think again. Create, explore, and put your problem-solving skills to the test. Lets pretend youre alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Campers learn how to work as a team as they take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. There are two modes of the game. The scenario above describes the survival mode. There is also a creative mode where there are no monsters and you will be able to fly around and have unlimited resources to build amazing creations and buildings. This all day skills camp is the perfect combination of breaking down the skills of volleyball and competiting in a team environment. Campers will train each of the important skiills of volleyball each day, and will also work on team play. A tournament will conclude this camp which always proves to be a camper favorite!
