Kid's Camp: Quilt 2016 - Laramie, WY
Come join other young quilters and make some new friends. Participants will complete a quilt top in this one day class using a simple pattern. Age 10 and up and must own and know how to operate their own sewing machine. Registration fee is $60 (includes fabric and pattern).

We are offering free haircuts to any Kid SpOt patients! We know haircuts can be a difficult task to complete for children with disabliltes. We hope to provide a calming one-on-one experience for these children to cater to their sensory needs. We will have several hairdressers helping out with this event. Please contact the Kid SpOt Center in Campbellsivlle at 270.465.7768 if you would like to reserve a spot for your child! We have a select number of appts available......so, first come, first serve! If we get an overwhelming response, we will place your name on a wait list and try to get more supports!

Summer Art Camp for Kids - Winslow, AR
Summer Art Camp for Kids babaMonday-Friday, July 11-15, 9-12am Special outdoor dinner and performance on Friday, July 15, beginning at 6pm. Explore new areas in the arts at Summer Art Camp, July 11-15 at Ozark Folkways! Create giant masks and bring the characters of the Russian folk tale Baba Yaga to life as you experiment with music-making, movement, and mime! There will be witches, magical animals, fabulous costumes, lights, music and action: fun for all levels. Everyone will take part in a final performance at dusk on Friday, July 15 on our outdoor stage, the Crow’s Nest. The community will be invited to join in a weiner roast before the show, and then to marvel at the amazing performance the kids will have put together in a single week! Cost is $25 per child and includes all supplies and a healthy mid morning snack each day. Space is limited! Pre-registration is required and spots are available on a first come first serve basis. • During this engineering design process, students will explore Bernoullis Principle, as they build various types of aerospace vehicles, and discover Newtons Law of Inertia. Students will also study the Earths moon, gravity, moon phases, tides, and rocketry. • STEM Challenges: Design and Build an airplane that will travel 15 feet; Design and build a telescope. 4439286772.0

Camp Collegiate Session 2 3rd-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Hawley Session 2: Machine Building Camp. Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Each day at camp begins at 9:00 AM with a game of Capture the Flag and ends at 3:00 PM with a fun closing activity where the Happy Camper for the day is announced.
