Kidokinetics camps provide a fun, healthy week of exercise, games, nutrition and sports activities. A new sport is introduced every day. Later, you will be able to put your new skills into practice through fun, fast paced games. Between the two sport sessions children will have a chance to take a break and have a snack. During this time we will make sports related crafts and read sports and nutrition themed books. Our middle school program focuses on the essentials of rowing in the stable training barge and then both sculling (rowing with two oars each) and sweep rowing (rowing with one oar each). The athletes row in the training barge, coxed quads, eight-person boats, and they learn valuable skills such as teamwork, fitness conditioning, and safety on the water.
