Over Spring Break YMCA Camp Collins offers a 3-day fun camp experience for teens in grades 8-12. This retreat is designed for both new and experienced campers. Experienced campers are invited to come back and enjoy the activities and fellowship they love at camp, while new campers can come get an idea of what teen camp programs are all about! It’s the perfect way for teens to have a blast together in a beautiful outdoor environment over their Spring Break. It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature.
