As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University. Whats not to love about dolphins? Smart, playful, they love their friends and family and theyre phenomenal swimmers and jumpers. They speak to each other underwater and can find things without being able to see them! Dont you wish you were a dolphin? Lets find out more about these ocean superstars. And of course - we have to play in the water A LOT this week. Well find things with our masks blacked out by echolocation and well play Capture the Fish!
