Teen Adult Krav Camp Sept '16- Homeland Defenders - Lutz, FL
16 hours of hard core Krav Maga training with the Krav Maga organization that brought Krav Maga to Tampa Bay and continues to lead the way 16 years into our mission! This years theme is "Homeland Defenders"! Be the best you that you can be- for yourself, your family, your community and your country. Be prepared for whatever happens next. Fourth Annual MLK Day of Service & Kids Camp - Oaklyn, NJ
KIDS CAMP- 8:30am-4pm (aftercare available until 5:30pm) COST: $10 donation (includes lunch) Let's work together to build the Beloved Community! Activities include: Singing, songwriting, sports, skits, stories, arts and crafts teaching the message of community and nonviolence. We Work Together, We Rock! Service will take place between 9am-2:30pm and various hours in between depending on service site, location and project. Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 2) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Songwriting Workshop - Penncrest High School
This workshop would be for all 6th-12th graders interested in learning more about songwriting. No previous musical experience is required. Students would write their own original music, and gain skills on the keyboard that allow them to become better musicians and even self-accompany! This workshop is perfect for poets who wish they knew more about how to put their words to music, or experienced musicians who are stuck when it comes to writing lyrics. A Spanish Adventure Summer Camp: Dance - Euclid Park
Weekly theme: Dance and Movement - experiencing the joy of Latin rhythms and diversity. Children will explore the Spanish language and culture through theme-based activities such as art, music, nature, dance, and more! This camp is perfect for kids without knowledge of Spanish, as well as for the advanced. Children will work in groups matching their level of Spanish. Enlisting your child into activities they love will make them strive to build and expand vocabulary and language structure naturally. Please bring a snack and water. Aqua Camp Before-Camp Care Spring Break - Albany Aquatic Center
Before-Camp care will be available from 9:00AM - 10:00 AM before Aqua Camp begins. Participants will be treated to more activities, crafts and games until they are picked up. Acting and Auditioning Studio Workshop - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
This 3 week workshop puts an in depth focus on the skills needed to succeed in theatre and performance. Working with professional performers, directors, and teaching artists, students will receive instruction in Acting, Vocals, and Dance including: -script analysis -improvisation -monologue technique -physicality -breaking down lyrics -finding the story of the song -basics of a professional musical theatre audition -choosing songs that showcase YOU -finding a 16-bar cut -working with an accompanist -stretching and warm up -basics of musical theatre dance -moving like a dancer -dance auditions (how to make it out alive) The workshop culminates in a feedback audition to introduce you to local theatre professionals on Friday night as well as a student designed performance of skills on Saturday morning.
