SpringBreak MINI Sewing Camp this year will be March 8th and 9th from 8:00-11:30 am and includes ALL Supplies and snacks! Just bring your machine! If you don't have one you can rent one for $10 total for both days. Hear from students, families, dancers, and staff about new initiatives that will connect, engage, and empower youth and the wider Baltimore community. The Baltimore Dance Crews Project is excited to launch Spring Forward - a campaign to support BDCP youth. Our goal is to raise $20,000 between March 18th and May 14th for BDCP programs. Our soft lanuch is an opportunity to learn about BDCP and how to become a supporter. A small class size of 16 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher and 1 trained associate enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps). Develop individual and team skills in a fun and positive environment. Become a better lacrosse player and let loose with Coach Mitchell and his fun-loving staff. Each player will be grouped by age and skill and partake in drills designed to teach every aspect of the game while emphasizing the fundamentals. Players will be placed on even teams and game and tournament play will be designed to spark competition and teach sportsmanship. In between lacrosse, players will enjoy other fun activities such as a pool trip, water slides, and individual competitions for prizes. Coach Mitchell will be joined by other Heights coaches, Heights alums, and visits from elite college and professional players. Build confidence and coordination to the tunes of Frozen, Tangled, The Lion King, and more! Afternoon Only (1:00 - 4:00 pm) Behind the Curtains of The Sky is Falling- The art of Stage Craft will take over the next week on Second St. This week we will be working closely with the cast of The Sky is Falling to prepare their costumes and set for the show on July 22 and 23.
