Welding & Pop Art [C] - Coyote Central
Using MIG welders, metal saws, hot and cold bending systems, and grinders, youll begin to master the basics of welding and metal fabrication. This weeks welders will work in the spirit of Claes Oldenburg, an American artist made famous for creating giant public art pieces of oversized everyday objects: a giant eraser, a tube of lip stick, a hand saw. First Stage Theatre Academy - Omaha Community Playhouse
First Stage Theatre Academy is a two-week intensive that immerses students in the art of Theatre. Since 1997, over 900 students have participated in the First Stage Academy. For two weeks during the summer, students work intensively with professional directors, musicians, and choreographers. Mornings begin with a daily group warm-up, followed by classes in voice, movement and dance, acting, improvisation, scene study and playwriting. Afternoons are spent rehearsing and building the original play which is performed for family and friends at the end of the Academy our Hawks Main stage. 402-553-4890 x131

Rock n Roll Explorations Camp - OCS Arts Center
Rock instruments, vocals, songwriting, recordings, and CD design! An action-packed week for boys and girls. No previous experience necessary. Great for campers with Beginning Guitar experience! Campers will bring their own guitar or bass or we provide keyboard or drums. Led by Arts Center faculty in a friendly atmosphere where campers play in a band, learn and write songs, and perform in an All Camp Jam Concert on the final day at 3pm.
