Meal A meal will be provided to the camper at the end of the camp. What to Bring Each camper receives a camp T-shirt check-in. This is a non-contact camp, so football pads are not needed. T-shirts and shorts are required for all practice sessions. Each camper will be provided a UT jersey to wear during the course of the camp. At the conclusion of the camp, the camper MUST return the jersey to the managers.

For over 20 years FONZ Nature Camp has matched campers with an appreciation for the great outdoors. My 13 year old son has attended this camp for the last 3 years. He plans to go again next year as well. MOUNTAIN BIKING 201 $250 Grades 6+ July 25-29 8:30AM-2:00PM Did you know that within a half mile of the Greensboro Day School campus is access to over 35 miles of the best municipal mountain bike trails in North Carolina!?! Looking to build on a successful first year at the 2015 GDS summer camp , we are back for even more fun for 2016 with two sessions available! [MTB 101 June 13-17 and MTB 201 July 25-29] For a full week, your child will get the opportunity to safely explore our amazing local Greensboro mountain bike trails while also learning basic mountain bike repair and maintenance. Instruction will be provided from highly experienced local bike shop mechanics combined with skills instruction and guided rides from certified International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) guides. This camp will split time between instruction, skills sessions and most importantly bike riding! All your child needs is a bike in good working condition with knobby tires and a helmet. For children entering 1st grade: YOUNG EXPLORERS SUMMER BLAST! at Oakwood is an afternoon program designed specifically to engage young children (ages PreK –1st grade) in activities that will unlock their imagination. When Young Explorers pass through the class- room door, they will instantly be launched into new and exciting worlds. One day the children may discover that they are knights who have been trusted to protect the castle from re-breathing dragons, and the next they may find that they have been transformed into a pit crew on the side of a great auto speedway. Children may find themselves on the infamous Jolly Roger, swabbing the deck and walking the plank, or they may discover that they are astronauts flying past the Milky Way. The possibilities are endless at Young Explorers Summer BLAST!! Young Explorers Summer BLAST! is run by creative and enthusiastic adult teachers who are assisted by junior counselors. Throughout the entire week these leaders will provide a safe environment for the children to make new friends, test their skills, and explore the realms of possibility and imagination.
