Math and Reading Games 1st-2nd grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Zarei This class will provide a positive experience while developing fundamental skills in math and reading. Our daily schedule will be filled with games and activities practicing phonemic awareness, word sorts, reading and listening comprehension. We will explore how mathematical concepts are used in everyday life, including computation, conservation and problem solving. We will have so much fun the students wont notice how much they are learning. Lets build knowledge and confidence while having a fun-filled summer together! Strider Push Bike Camp - Cottonwood Creek Park
This is where it all begins! Learning fun and balance as young as 2 years old, kids and families spend 45 minutes doing age appropriate games and skills in order to achieve proper balance and steering skills. Strider (push bike) camp is geared toward kids who are walking with their bikes, not fully sitting on the seat and not yet gliding or striding. But, it is also for those kids who are ready to learn how to turn, stop and maneuver obstacles. Parents will be hands on during this class. SAMO Tennis Spring Break Camp - Santa Monica High Tennis Courts
Camp is open to all skill levels of players. Campers are grouped based on age, ability, and experience. Each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all strokes and will enhance their skills through repetition, ball-feeding drills, live-ball situation and competitive play. USPTA coaches Wilston Poon and Stanford Poon direct all sessions. Please bring a racket, new can of balls, snack, sunscreen, water, and hat/sunglasses. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs February 3 (6 am) through February 9.
