Big Kid on Campus
Do you know or have kids that have in some way been affected by cancer, whether that means they have battled it themselves or have loved ones that have? Would they enjoy spending a day at Georgia Tech with college students? Then bring them on out to Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship for Big Kid on Campus, a Saturday full of fun! We are hosting a day full of fun entertainment and activities including games, crafts, makeovers, kickball with the Georgia Tech Softball team, and even an appearance by Santa! If you are interested in volunteering to make this happen and spend the day with these wonderful kiddos, you are also welcome! We need student volunteers at each and every event and would love to have YOU. So, if you so desire, come to as much as you are able to throughout the day and please RSVP to this event! Thanks! Campers will have a riding lesson and a games/exercises on horseback session each day as well as a horsemanship lesson and craft project. (716) 741-2346
Beginning Typing/Keyboarding Skills - The Evergreen School
Typing is an invaluable skill that takes time and practice to master. This class is for children with little or no experience. We will discuss the history of typing, why it is important, learn about proper ergonomics, and the home row keys. Students will be exposed to many different typing programs and games. A list of resources will go home on the last day. 206-957-1533
Nature Camp 2 - Twin Lakes Church
Explore and learn about Santa Cruz county in a way you never have before! Experience Gods wonderful creation right out our front door through various hikes, visits to State Parks, swimming, and so much more! Join us this year for the return of our nature camp campout and sleepover on the Twin Lakes campus complete with campfire, smores, movies, and an indoor sleepover! This is a fun, active, and educational camp! Some of the days can be moderately strenuous hikes and not suitable for very young children. For this reason, campers must be entering 2nd grade to attend. Please keep in mind the physical exertion of this camp when considering it for your child. Some of the activities for the week include: River walking at Henry Cowell State Park in Felton Tide Pools and beach at Natural Bridges Hike at Point Lobos State Park in Monterey and more! 831-465-3386
SMC Elite Prospect Camp - Saint Marys College of California
The SMC Prospect Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The camp offers top student athletes the chance to excel and compete in a learning environment. Players will receive extensive instruction in hitting, pitching, and fielding by SMC coaches while getting a chance to play in some competitive games. We would like to start promptly at 9:00 AM so be there early to sign in! *Dont forget to bring your own personal softball equipment 925-631-4386
Volleyball Youth Camp #1 - Youth Skills Camp - Chico State University - Acker Gym
The Youth Skills Camp will introduce boys and girls to the sport of volleyball. The focus is on providing a positive environment for learning and sharing on and off the volleyball court. A variety of drills, games and competitions will be used to complete the understanding of each skill. Instruction is provided by members of the current Chico State coaching staff. All Chico State Volleyball camps will be held in Acker Gymnasium on the campus of Chico State University. A fee of $25 will be charged for any registration cancelled prior to the start of camp.
