Dear Friends, Campers, Staff, and All, Camp season is coming! We’ve secured Toah Nipi in the beautiful woods of Rindge, New Hampshire, for Sunday, July 10 – Sunday, July 17, 2016. Back for her third year, Mrs. Kris Anne Hall, a vigorous young mother will again be teaching about heroic men and women from our countryʼs founding, and the documents of freedom leading up to it. There will be a whole line-up of speakers and teachers, with more to be announced. Other returning instructors or mentors include with Mr. Peik,Mr. Shurtleff, Mr. Hoderny, Mr. “V,” and me. Mr. Peik will again lead Campfires, the Round Robin for Student Input and Q & A, and weʼll even find time for a final exam to help you see your progress! Family Camp is growing! We will again conduct the Junior Patriot Camp Program, making for a truly great family vacation! We welcome families with younger children, or no children, plus grandparents, and others (See worksheet for family accommodations.) We always have a wonderful group of young people and it is so good to see them interacting well with the little ones, with each other, with the grown ups, and even with us ancient ones! Pattern-Making Fundamentals - Manhattan - Esaie Couture Design School
Learn how to draft sewing patterns with flat pattern-making techniques. This course will give you all the basic skills you need to learn how to read and understand patterns and how to create your own pattern styles, using your own measurements to create a custom fit. Students will also learn about how to do simple alterations and changes to this basic pattern, aka the sloper (the fashion term for your basic pattern block). This is a great class for those with no skills in pattern-making or for those who sew and might have made clothes but with no technical training. Session One - Beals Point Beach State Park
The Folsom Lake SRA Junior Lifeguard Program trains children ages 8-16 years of age in aquatic safety, while providing them with an interactive and well rounded outdoor education. Each participant is given instruction and hands on training in CPR/1st Aid and Aquatic Rescue techniques/equipment. Educational trips include a river-rafting trip, bicycle tour of the American River bike trail, and ocean orientation during the Santa Cruz camping trip. **Please keep in mind that one uniform T-shirt and a JG rashguard are included in the tuition price. If you wish to purchase more uniform items, you may do so on this same registration site. This includes board shorts, sweatpants and sweatshirts, additional t-shirts or rashguards, or patches to put on your own store bought navy blue gear. 916-791-1007

JR PGA League - The Golf Courses of Kenton County
PGA Junior League Golf (PGA JLG) is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 13 and under. PGA JLG features team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke-play competition. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game! Players will practice on Monday and/ or Tuesday (4:30 - 5:30 PM) from May 11th through June 9th. Matches will be played on Sunday afternoon. Schedule will be determined by amount of players and other local teams. (Practice times may be adjusted as we enter summer break from school.)
