Fun-filled field trips will be taken each day to enable campers to explore the exciting opportunities available in our community. Each morning will begin with a short educational reading and activity related to the field trip. Lunch will be eaten on the trip and a thematic afternoon snack will be provided. Each location offers campers the opportunity to play and explore. Campers should pack their own lunch. Field trips include: Cleveland Zoo, Great Lakes Science Center, Natural History Museum and Lake Farm Parks. Trips will be arranged according to weather and lunch should be packed in brown paper sacks or plastic bags to allow for easy disposal while on field trips. Kids Camp (Columbus Day No School) Ages 11 to 16 - Plano, IL
Kids can join us from 10am-1pm and complete three different art projects using different mediums. All fall/Halloween projects. Pottery, Fused Glass & Canvas. Pottery & Glass projects will be available for pick up with in 5-7 days. Canvas project will go home that day. This session recommended ages 11yrs to 16yrs. $35 per artist.
Hanford Falcons Youth (K-6) Wrestling Camp - Richland, WA
Youth Wrestling Camp Put on by Hanford High School. There will be local college wrestlers that will be clinicians throughout the camp. Prepare for SAT success! In this rigorous, half-day camp, youll learn the form and style of the test--which was completely redesigned as of March 2016--as well as the essential content and strategies for approaching each question on the critical reading and writing portions of the SAT. You will learn how to recognize the types of questions asked on the reading passages, become a more critical reader, and identify the evidence on which your answers are based. For the writing section, we will review the most commonly tested grammar rules and skills as well as learn and practice what it takes to write an outstanding essay, which is now optional and follows a completely different format from the previous version of the SAT. Youll leave this camp with the confidence and skills to make your best score yet on critical reading and writing! (An SAT book will be provided.) Jaymee Gaskins received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a masters in Reading Education from Meredith College. Gain confidence and independence as you play in small groups with no more than two students playing each part. Improve your ensembles skills and play more expressively with the help of MacPhail string faculty and teaching interns. Camp will conclude with a final performance for family and friends. Current MacPhail students do not need to audition. We will consult your instructor for your playing level.
