Campers will perform experiments to demonstrate weightlessness in space. They will explore variations between gravity on earth and gravity in space, examine the impacts of weightlessness on the human body, and investigate weather patterns on the moon. They will learn how astronauts prepare for the extreme temperatures in space.Campers will perform experiments to illustrate the blackhole, make a "ghost" appear in a bottle as part of a meteorology activity, explore what happens when air masses collide, and build and use several weather instruments. Pure Gravity Fitness's Annual Kid's Circus Camp!! For kids ages 6-12. We'll be exploring movement and the many aspects of circus performance. This will include learning tricks on aerial apparatuses, tumbling, balance, hula hoop and juggling, costuming and circus history. This camp is designed for kids to discover movement, foster creativity, and most importantly have FUN!! It is a three-day camp running the last week in June, Monday Wednesday and Friday from 9am to Noon. Cost is $85 for all three days and includes all activities and a snack! We will also be hosting a camp the second week of August!!

Week 6: Northwoods Adventure - Camp Tanadoona
An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Adventurers spend the night at Camp Bluewaters lodge then embark in the morning on a 4-day canoe and camping trip through a chain of lakes. 612-235-7284
Advanced Computer Camp - Pi Edition - Transylvania University
Experienced computer students are given the opportunity to work on advanced projects. This camps theme will involve the Raspberry Pi computers as a low-cost experimenters platform. Morning and afternoon programming sessions will begin with a short lecture, then you will be allowed to address several challenges in response to the topic covered in the lecture. Learn at your own pace, but instructors will be available to help if you have questions or problems. Evening sessions are reserved for independent work and network gaming. During camp, participants will live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet service will not be available in the dorm rooms. Campers must have attended a previous Transylvania computer camp or taken some programming classes at your high school. If you do not have this background, please consider registering for our Introduction to Computer Programming Camp, scheduled for June 12-17. Enrollment is limited to 35 campers. Campers will visit the magical Akron Civic Theatre, wild Akron Zoo, beautiful Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, fascinating Akron Art Museum and fun Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway.
