Learn the basics of rod/reel and fly fishing with our seasoned instructors and try your luck at various sites such as the Puyallup River watershed, North Cascades mountain lakes, and the Salish Sea. Camp Indian Summer is an opportunity for grown-up kids of all ages to leave their worries and responsibilties at the foot of the mountain and spend a few days being a kid again. Explore the streams, caves and forest trails on the 800 acre Cathedral Domain property located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The 8th Annual Halloween Town returns to Camp Tohkomeupog, rain or shine, on October 22nd offering elementary & middle school kids the opportunity to enjoy a “traditional” Halloween experience with the ability to walk around a “neighborhood” while visiting houses in trick-or-treat style. Admission is free (there are areas to make a donation towards the Laura Foundation). There is a fee for rides and the food court items.

Summer Session - Cycling - Pre Season Cyclocross Camp - Killington Mountain School
The KMS Cycling preseason CX Camp will leave you ready and eager to begin the 2016-2017 Cyclocross season! There are many skills and race secrets involved in Cyclocross, and this camp will cover most of them! Topics include cornering, sand, barriers, hole shots, run-ups, and off-cambers, to strength and conditioning methods and plans, race preparation, course inspection, race tactics, pit management, bike maintenance, set-up, and repair, the importance of tire pressure, preparing for training/racing in inclement weather, riding efficiently, video analysis, practice races, and pathways to the elite levels of cyclocross. There will be demonstrations, drills, training rides, on-bike games, discussions, and guest appearances from top collegiate and local pro racers. This camp is targeted toward motivated 13 to 16 year-old junior Cyclocross racers of any ability. From butterflies and beetles, to birds and buttercups, and more! Flora and fauna abounds in this secluded historic garden; there is so much to explore! Camp will be held outdoors when weather permits, as well as in Van Vlecks spacious and air conditioned Education Center. SummerARTs fantastic teaching artists will teach camp sessions, and projects will include a variety of fine art materials and methods such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more. Students will have the opportunity to exhibit their work and celebrate what they have learned with family and friends at a closing reception held at the end of each session. Price Includes $100 lab fee Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker.
