Nature Explorers RP 4 - Riverside Park
Nature Explorers Camp allows kids to explore their own interests in nature and science through outdoor adventure and nature play activities with the guidance of our knowledgeable and creative staff. Nature Explorers will discover the natural wonders of the Urban Ecology Centers parks and beyond while hiking, playing, building forts, visiting the shores of Lake Michigan and more! Week 3: Entrepreneurship & Golf - ACE Conference Center
Girls are incredible with coming up with ideas. This week, they are taught how to take their ideas to the next level. What are operations and what does Math have to do with an idea? They will definitely be able to answer those questions. Girls will use their ideas to solve problems and their skills to resolve challenges. No business deal would be complete without a golfing experience. Golf lessons with a PRO & clubs are a part of the week. Due to the expense of this week, there wont be a make up day for Monday,the 4th of July. Girls will be divided into 2 groups: 7-9 & 10-13. Our capacity is 10 girls per group to ensure an enriching and impactful experience. * Inclusive every day are snacks & meals provided by Wolfgang Pucks Team, supplies, morning yoga on a Helicopter Pad (when not in use by an actual helicopter), afternoon meditation, all activities, guest speakers, workshops and more.* 1-610-584-4283

In this session, SHEbot to the Rescue: Saving the World with Robots! , participants will learn how getting involved in building, programming and competing with LEGO NXT robots can lead to careers that help the world become safer, easier, and more. While having fun participant are engaged in teamwork, as well as computer programming, problem solving using math, robot engineering, design concepts, and critical thinking. My hope is to demonstrate to girls that whether they are really into the "techie" side of careers on not, STEM has a pathway to their dreams to make the world a better place. 8322080445.0
