Parents, need more time to prepare for Santa's arrival? December 12th from 1-6 p.m. the AHS Drama Department will be hosting a day for kids filled with games, snacks, crafts, and more! Urban installation artists can create just about anything from huge steel sculptures in parks, 40 foot long mosaics in subways, giant murals on sky high buildings, Using inspiration from city life, campers will paint, sculpt and erect a city from the pavement to the sky. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

Exploring Nature Camp - Churchill Park
Outdoor exploration and basics of ecology are the focus of this week. Well explore the woods, prairie and wet areas. Campers will roll logs looking for slugs and centipedes and learn why dark, damp places are important. Theyll wade in the water to net tadpoles and frogs - discovering that muddy and polluted water are different. Well crawl through the tall grasses to get a bugs eye view of the world. This is a hands-on, mind-on, and mud-on camp! A detailed letter will be sent prior to camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please be sure to bring a water bottle, snack, and apply sunscreen.
