as your child ever wondered where their food comes from and where their trash goes? In Camp Green Science, campers will investigate, discover and explore how the choices we make have a direct impact on the environment we live in and learn simple things we can do to reduce our carbon footprint. Through fun, interactive activities, theyll learn about renewable energy including sun, wind, water and even potatoes! Theyll see the Greenhouse effect up close and learn how cow burps are related to trash and climate change. Campers will learn how to clean our oceans, purify drinking water, and start a compost pile. Theyll investigate why the rainforest needs to be saved, make their own paper, plant seeds in recycled paper planters, and taste fresh honey. Theyll snack on solar smores and swamp juice smoothies. Each camper will end the week by building a recycled soda bottle terrarium to take home. 7047743016.0

The camp aims to prepare campers to compete in running events from 800-meters through 10,000-meters and cross country. There will be two running activities daily, each will be between 25 minutes and 60 minutes in duration, depending on age and ability. Teams are encouraged to come as a group, and learn to work together. A team is considered 5 or more from the same school, residential camper price is $445. To register as a team you must call/email Todd Morgan to register. We will have expert speakers covering racing, training, and strength strategies. Camp facilities include miles of trains, gym, pool, lake, canoes, etc.. A full-time camp counselor staff includes a certified ATC Trainer, and life guard.
