Summer Camp 2015 - Antelope, OR
Horizon Youth is hosting our very first Summer Camp at Washington Family Ranch. This week long camp will be filled with all kinds of activities; basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, rock climbing, disc golf and hiking. If you’ve gone with us before to Winter Camp, you know just how great this camp is. How much more fun will it be to have access to more of what the camp has to offer in the summer months. Like swimming in the pool or zip lining across the lake, and driving go carts, just to name a few. Donnie Moore and his Radical Reality team will be our Guests Speakers all week and Tiffany and the band will be leading us in Worship each day. So grab some friends and register to go to camp, you’ll be challenged in your walk with God, encouraged in your faith and you’ll be able to start the new school year with confidence in who you are in Christ. Cost: $299 - pre–registration by May 15th $329 – registration by June 15th $349 – late registration by July 15th

Car, truck, motorcycle and bicycle show. Yes outdoors and Yes we have the date correct. Sunday Jan 29 from noon til dusk! Pull that car cover off, put the battery back in and drive your summer ride out for one day of winter fun! They make car washes, even in winter...so put on your big boy/girl pants and drive out...snow or shine! All show vehicles welcome. FREE Chili. Awards at 4pm. Free admission. Trophies awarded for car, truck, motorcycle AND bicycle participation. $5 entry fee per car/truck, $3 per motorcycle and $1 per bicycle if you would like to participate in the drawings and awards. 100% of all entry collection will go to the Make a Wish Foundation. You can display for FREE, but you will not be in for awards or raffle prize drawings without a donation to our Charity. Freddy has a great bar, with an really nice deck out back. Sit by the fire, hang out under the tent outside or just hang out inside the nice warm Locker Room! Food available on site.

For those who teach dental hygiene or wish to receive required teaching methodology to teach dental hygiene this conference provides a variety of courses in general educational teaching methodology and specific subject teaching methodology. Courses include a flash drive of teaching materials. Visit our website for course descriptions and registration details. The courses are spread over 8 days. Aug 4 through 11, 2015. Hotel rates are $89 per night for double occupancy. Fly into Jacksonville FL airport. Half hour shuttle ride to hotel. All classes held in 2 hotels. Teaching methodology classes are limited to 30 participants.

This year, we would like to extend our day to 3:00 p.m. to include afternoon activities such as service, swimming, bowling, skating, etc. In order to add the component, we need willing adults to chaperone the afternoon outings. If you are interested in having some fun with some cool kids or if you have service project ideas you can help facilitate, then please contact Rachel.

Skyhawks Multisport Camp - Park - Peers (PP)
Skyhawks Multi Sport Camp Our multi-sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this program, we combine soccer, baseball and basketball into on fun-filled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week you child will walk away with knowledge of multiple sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle and merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is 12:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, a lunch and snack, water, running shoes, a baseball glove and sunscreen. Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp (Grades 6 - 12) The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount. Staff: Carl Romero -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: Camp is only open to children entering grades 6-12. Registering ineligible children will result in removal from program and no refund. No residency restrictions.
