Summer Weekend Camping Trip - North Atlanta Christians - Catawa Falls
Summer Camping Trip! Come join is for the annnual weekend of fun in the woods! Catawa Falls Campground offers great streamside tent camping sites, cabins and fantastic waterfalls to explore. We will be hiking and exploring the area around that Campground. We will be 25minutes from Asheville, NC The cost will be roughly $10.00 per person per day of tent camping. The sites we will secure are right off the river! We will have a nearby pavillion to grill and cook. There are MANY cabins to choose from, the cabins have electricity but no running water. All showers will be at the bath house in the middlefo the campground. Those that want to paticipate in getting a cabin please let me know and we can firgure out the cost per person. Campfires every night! Get your marshmellows ready! THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY EVENT!! Kids will have plenty to do with creeks to wade through and a playground nearby. Thsi is going to be a FUN FANTASTIC weekend! We hopeyou can join us!

This week is an introduction to Adventure Camps at Camp Nawakwa. Learn the basics of life in the outdoors. Sleeping under the stars for a night, taking a ½ day hike, and learning outdoor safety. Explorer 1 is the first step to more advanced Survivor Camps. You asked and we responded! Our newest addition… Future Physician II brings more great projects, as young campers delve further into their amazing body systems. Theyll peel back the layers and discover how their complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to….. well, you get the idea. Theyll uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. Campers will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. They will use a microscope, test for germs, map their organs, build a set of teeth, brain and virus models, AND take home their own MD kit. Certificate of Mini-MD given at end of camp! 7047743016.0

The week long day camp offers a wide variety of sports and activities for campers to participate in. Activities included are: basketball, swimming, soccer, volleyball, tennis, ping pong, kick ball, arts and crafts, and others. All activities take place on the beautiful Hayward campus of Cal State East Bay. A daily lunch is provided and if there are any dietary needs just let us know and we can accommodate your camper. The only equipment that your camper will need to bring are: swim suit, towel, goggles (if preferred), snacks, and shoes to be active in (sandals are highly discouraged).
