Music for Aardvarks - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
This program is for 2K-SK students. Music for Aardvarks is a refreshing alternative to the traditional music class for kids ages 8 months to 5 years old, featuring live guitar, storytelling, singing, dancing, and instrument play. Rex Arts - Acting UP Camp (Grades 3-5) - Community Middle School
Acting Camp/Acting UP ( Grades 3 - 5)Plainsboro is thrilled to offer this popular camp for the eighth year! Through theater games, acting exercises, monologues, improvisation, scene work, and theatrical movie time, students will expand their theater knowledge, build confidence, express themselves, and learn to work well with an ensemble. A presentation of the students hard work will be performed for astonished family and friends on the final day of each camp. Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: Circus Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: Circus Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. CR Stewards (ages 9-13) - Connolly Ranch
This camp is designed for those who are ready to advance their learning and exploration of the natural world. Connolly Ranch Stewards will get a behind-the-scenes perspective of Connolly Ranch and its natural history. Participants will have the opportunity to work on conservation projects, build natural shelters, learn advanced farm chores, explore rarely used areas, hike in the hills and delve into techniques, tactics and concepts that this older group is ready to explore. But its not all work! Our naturalists and teachers will guide these budding environmentalists in games and exercises that offer lots of fun while imparting important lessons about protecting open spaces and wild places.
