Animation- Middle School - Eureka Workshop
This class combines storytelling and Computer Science. Campers learn the basics of green-screen photography and stop-motion animation as they bring to life the environments and characters that are created in a digital short film! Fairyland Art Camp 1 - The Art Garage Austin
This camp is going to be completely magical. We will paint adorable fairy ceramics, make fairy wands and tie-dye fairy t-shirts. Coed Soccer Day Camp: Session II - Siena College - Marcelle Athletic Complex & Fields
Siena College Soccer Camp provides a fun and exciting way to learn the fundamentals of the game of soccer. The camp is designed to teach the skills of the game and the benefits of team work in a fun and competitive environment. The camp staff is selected from the best high school and college coaches and includes college players that are eager to share their knowledge with the campers. The Siena College athletic facilities include several outdoor fields, both turf and grass, that provide a great atmosphere in one location for hundreds of campers each summer. This camp is for boys and girls ages 6-17, the cost is $320 per camper. A 15% discount is available to groups of eight (8) or more campers that must be done online with a group discount code. No additions will be allowed after the initial submission of a group. A 10% sibling discount is also available. ***The Generation S Club membership promotion MAY NOT be combined with the group discount.*** Online registration will end ONE WEEK before the start of camp. Teen Metalsmithing & Jewelry with Connie Pfeiffer (Ages 12-17) - Young People
Learn basic metalworking techniques to create mini sculpture and jewelry. Saw, hammer, fold, cut, stamp, rivet and solder copper sheet metal and wire. Students will use hand tools and a torch (one-on-one with instructor) to make metal malleable and solder pieces together as needed. Two and three-dimensional forms will be explored, including organic leaves, spheres, circles etc. New projects for returning students. 2035624927 x14

Typing Club - Valle Verde Elementary
Room: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Students learn typing skills using an online keyboarding program. Emphasis will be on teaching desirable keyboarding techniques, mastery of the keyboard and development of speed and accuracy. We will also practice how to apply keyboarding skills in real life situations: Typing and formatting in Word, creating word art in Wordle, and putting together a simple PowerPoint presentation. We will tour the keyboard and learn about lesser known keys like the tilde and carat on a keyboard treasure hunt! Returning students can continue to build their speed, while new students can lay the foundation for great typing success.
