CAMP THEME: CARNIVAL COOKING & GAMES Playing with your food is the theme of this camp! Kids will take a hands-on approach to cooking. A different dish will be prepared each day. The camp involves food inspired art, cooking games, cupcake decorating, movies, table manners and more! All campers will receive their own chefs hat and recipe cards. Get ready for some cooking fun! Please be sure to indicate on your registration form if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Supplies: Campers should bring a beverage and snack and plenty of water each day. Lunch will be provided daily in camp. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Just because its summer doesnt mean the learning has to stop. Bring your curiosity and check out our newest camp, High-5. We will explore fun activities to enrich your learning. From building projects to cooking and science experiments; Camp High-5 will blend traditional summer games, art & crafts with exciting, indepth, hands on theme based projects. High-5 is moving to a new location on site at Red Morton Community Center, with its very own fenced in playground and in room bathrooms. Come & taste the adventure! Campers will explore some basic cooking techniques and create their own culinary masterpieces from around the world. Vendor: Tiny Chefs Chopped! Never have food challenge reality shows been so popular and Chopped! is a favorite here at Tiny and Gourmet Chefs! We like it so much we decided to base a whole week long camp on the concept. Our version has the added twist of focusing on different cuisines every day of camp. So, each day the Tiny and Gourmet Chef campers will be presented with a basket with 3 or 4 ingredients, which reflect these different cuisines—French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and All-American.
