The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly Player Development camp this Spring. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to improve his game in a variety of areas. Focus will be given each week to developing essential parts of the players game including but not limited to arm strength & speed development, speed enhancement, positional improvement, and offensive production. Each session will be 2 hours in length and will encompass a combination of the above mentioned areas with the sole purpose of Player Development. Sessions will take place on Monday nights from 6:00-8:00 and will include the following dates Feb 29th, March 7th, March 14th, March 21st, April 4th, April 18th, April 25th and May 2nd The cost to attend each session is 50.00. Nathan Benderson Park's Youth Aquatics Holiday Camp gives your child the opportunity to learn on the lake! Jump into a comic book with this fun filled camp that will turn our students into superheroes or super villains. Exciting acting games and super acting activities will lead to an epic performance in front of family and friends. INSTRUCTOR JOHN WALDRON received his BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. As an actor, director, and instructor, he has been working in the region for over 20 years. He has directed shows at Aldersgate and MVCCT. John can be seen in the motion picture Talk To Me starring Don Cheadle and was featured on Investigative Discovery show Who The Bleep!. The Young Filmmakers Workshop is an exciting, hand-on production class where students write, direct, produce, film, and act in a 7-10 minute film. Each class collaborates on 1 project, and students are mailed their DVD 2-3 weeks after class is complete.
