Camp will take place from 9am-4pm with the option of early drop off and late pick up. Your child will either learn a cheerleading or dance routine, a skit, or a combination of the three amongst other cool activities. Registration is $20 and tuition is $80 for the week. Fit all your extra-special after-dark hijinks into one weeklong session. Go nocturnal for evening swims, night hikes and glow parties, then sleep in. Sample daytime activities like high ropes, horseback riding or archery. The morning after your latest night out, enjoy a decadent brunch of your own design. Not eligible for Cookie Camp. This course will focus on learning the basics of the woodwind, brass or percussion instrument of each students choice. Learning activities will center around small group instruction with like instruments, music theory and games, and a group rehearsal with all instruments combined. The week will conclude with a short informance by all band members. Open to students entering 5th grade who have no previous experience on a band instrument. This Camp is a week-long art experience with Darlene Marshall and Mike Gibson. Campers will learn about artists, art techniques, and dabble in art history. Both sessions are identical. For ages 8-11. This camp runs Monday through Friday from 10 am to noon. LOCATION G.W. Carver Art Room at G. W. Carver Elementary

Survival of the fittest! Come explore how plants and insects survive in a world dominated by humans. Bring an observant eye and ear as we investigate unique interactions between living organisms. Dissect a grasshopper and flower, test how ants respond to stimuli, create an insect soundscape, and more! The hands-on explorations, inquiry-based activities, and modeling will leave students buzzing with excitement! Please note that this program is an updated version of Insectology from last summer.
