*New*Camp Tiyul hits the road! Spend the summer enjoying the great outdoors with your friends in an exciting camp designed for our senior campers! Using a challenge by choice philosophy, campers will develop their appreciation for the outdoors at iconic Austin-area sites, such as Blue Hole, Pedernales Falls State Park, and the Greenbelt. Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities such as kayaking, swimming, hiking and rock climbing, as well as community service projects. Throughout this experience campers will build lasting friendship and memories to last a lifetime. The second week campers have an out-of-city 2-night overnight trip. 512-735-8100

For Campers who need to improve printing skills. Fun and creative multi-sensory activities that include yoga, crafts, and the program "Handwriting Without Tears." Campers will address letter & number formation, spacing, and line placement while working on improved posture and core strength necessary for good printing. Shooting & Finishing (12-14y) - Swope Soccer Village
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their performance on the attack by becoming the ultimate threat in the offensive third: The goal scorer. Players will learn proper mechanics and techniques of shooting and finishing in various game-like scenarios. After completion of the Shooting & Finishing camp, we recommend progressing to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training course. Designed with the collaborative workshop model in mind, campers will enjoy an in-depth exploration of two essential tech tools: Scratch programming and Lego stop animation. Using MITs Scratch programming language, fundamental concepts will be taught so campers can start creating stories, games and animations and even try applying some of these skills to games like Minecraft. Well then investigate tricks of the trade for creating Lego stop animation movies so campers can make their very own flicks. The week ends with a culminating workshop day for students to tweak and expand existing projects. No previous experience necessary; just come with curiosity and readiness to have fun!
