Ever wonder what its like to work at a tech company? In this workshop, well look at the many aspects of what goes into building a product like Facebook or Twitter. Students will wear many hats, playing the role of product designers, developers, and customers. (5th-6th) More than Meets the Eye! (Saturday April 9, 2016) - Aurora
What is in an eye? Students will explore the visual systems of mammals through the dissection of a cow eye! Identifying various cow-eye structures, they will discover how the cow eye compares to a human eye! By testing their sense of sight, participants will begin to appreciate the little things – in our eye (right down to the little light-detecting cells) – which help us to see the world. *Note there is no meal with this event* (630)9075987

Girls Volleyball - Sanford Day Camp
This year Delaware Volleyball Association will be running our volleyball program. DVA is known throughout the tri-state region for developing players who go on to succeed in their high school and college careers. Some DVA alumni will be on the US Olympic team this year. Players will be taught the fundamentals of serving, passing, setting and spiking. Teamwork around the net will be emphasized. Players can expect a good workout every day. ---------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. ---------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Knee pads and jump rope are also required. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp.
