Braintree After School Enrichment - Braintree After School Enrichment
B.A.S.E. [/] is a well-established child care program located in Braintree, MA. Since opening in 1985, we have become the largest after school program in Braintree and have developed a strong foundation within the community. We currently provide children in preschool through grade 7, with the opportunity to play and learn in a safe and caring environment. B.A.S.E. is a licensed nonprofit center not affiliated with the Braintree Public Schools. Ceramics 2 - Wild Animals - Artists Exchange
Animals, Animals, Animals! Make and bird out of a flat piece of clay or turn a clay bowl into a piggy bank. Campers will learn basic clay hand building techniques in this week of camp where kingdom Animalia rules supreme. Ceramics camps allow children to immerse themselves in clay studio studies ranging from basic hand building, wheel throwing, and sculpting. Campers will learn a variety of skills designed to fit the camp they are in. Ceramic focus campers will learn the technical aspects of recycling, slab work, build a simple kiln from a metal trash can and firing pottery in it. All under the guidance of a professional potter and the fire department. Clay adventures offers a beginners taste of experimenting with clay. Competitive Edge places a high priority on, athletic coordination, balance, strength and the introduction of essential muscular movement patterns that have been scientifically proven within the Ballet and Martial Arts community.
