Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team. This camp serves as an opportunity for participants to receive instruction from the coaches, players and alumni of Seattle Prep. We all share a passion for basketball and we look forward to including your daughter as a member of our team. Go Panthers! Skills Emphasized: ball handling – shooting form – one-on-one moves – footwork – rebounding – defensive principles - competitive games. Michelle Hall is in her 18th season at Seattle Prep as Head Coach. Her teams have qualified for the 3A state tournament on 12 occasions, winning a state championship in 2001.
