Grades 7th-12th This camp is an overnight camp at Brewton Parker College. Campers will be in small groups with friends and participate in mission projects and team building activities together throughout the week. Go here to print registration form: http://bit.ly/2575Ofc Total Cost: $165.00 and includes 4 nights, 11 meals, t-shirt, tote bag, a drawing for a Fire Tablet, and other items throughout the week. Fee to be paid in full at time of registration or you may pay an $80.00 nonrefundable deposit, and the rest on July 18th. All campers whose applications are completed (and at least deposit paid) and returned to the DBA office by July 1st will be eligible for a Kindle Fire Drawing and other door prizes.
Teen Camp - Escondido, CA
Projected registration opening date: April 5, 2017 Teen Camp is open to all teens with or without previous experience with mindfulness, meditation, or camping. This is a special time for all teenagers–please come and join! During this retreat, we will come together as brothers and sisters to develop skills that help us learn to be alive in the present moment and to connect deeply with ourselves and others. When we learn to be mindful, a whole new world appears. Activities will include walking meditation, eating in mindfulness, participating in periods of noble silence, sitting meditation, dharma presentations, sharing in groups, Deep Relaxation Meditation, joyful service, games, and hiking. Other activities we may include are morning exercise, drinking tea meditation, and a performance night. We will stay in large tents (around 5 teens per tent). Teen girls will be assigned to a tent in Clarity Hamlet Oak Grove and teen boys to a tent in the Solidity Hamlet Campground. There will be monastic and lay staff members staying in both campgrounds. All Pack Event. Enjoy the wonderful Oregon Coast while working on your rank advancement and our Summertime Pack Award. Exact timing is TBD, but the dates are reserved. I have reserved 30 scout and 10 adults slots. We have time to adjust, but the sooner we get this nailed down the better. I will have a sign up sheet for the next Pack/Den Meeting next Thursday for all those interested in going. There is a fee for this $243/Scout and $115/Adult. We do get a free adult admission for every 6 Scouts that go. At the next Committee Meeting we will discuss how we want to ration that out, either by need, or reduce everyone's cost equally, etc.

Youth 6th – 9th grade are invited to put faith into action and join us for one or both of these Leadership camps where we will focus on Christian Leadership and Discipleship. LITs will spend part of the week enjoying traditional camp fun and the rest of the time shadowing our trained staff in leadership development and faith building activities while serving as mentors and junior counselors to our day campers. Come join coach John Brooks and his staff at the BYU Swimming Camp. Our camp offers four days of training and feedback. You will define your own specific needs as a competitive swimmer, determine personal training guidelines to meet these needs and then develop individual goals to increase your performance potential throughout the year. To help determine these guidelines, you will receive interval training evaluations and coach critiques specific to your needs. Throughout the week you will increase your performance potential through the use of drills, workout sets, time trials, competitions and video sessions. In class, you will discover the theory behind powerful, winning strokes. You will study detailed sequential movements of competitive strokes, learn fundamental competitive techniques, view contemporary training films and receive valuable feedback from the analysis of personal videotapes. In the pool you will undergo extensive drills, workout sets and time trials. You will review your personal videotaping in class to give you insight into your training strengths and weaknesses, helping you increase your competitive edge.
