Sewing camp is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill that will last a lifetime! In this sewing camp, your child will learn a variety of hand-machine-sewing skills. They will learn to comfortably use the sewing machine and practice basic sewing stitches. We will make projects such as pillows, iPod holders, tote bags, aprons, draw string bags, book covers, water bottle holders and more. As a final project, campers will learn the art of quilting. We will provide all the colorful, beautiful fabrics, and the materials. On Friday, the campers will prepare snacks and lunch as part of their camp experience. The Cardinals Camp works to improve skills through individual instruction, drills, lectures and games. We feel the staff-camper ratio is very important and maintain a ratio of one coach for each 10 campers.
