Doulos Youth Winter Camp - Denton, TX
Keep it real this winter by joining Doulos Youth (7th-12th grade) for Crossroads' second annual Winter Camp! It’ll be a weekend packed FULL of awesome worship, life-changing messages, group games, and time to just hang out with your friends. There is a non-refundable deposit of $75 due at registration. Regular registration is $125 by October 31. If your student attends 80 percent of their connect group, they will be able to attend camp for only $100! All sign-ups are online. Our Kids's art camp is back...and during Christmas Break! We provide all the supplies, your child's inspiration and step-by-step instruction of the featured art. At the end of the event, kids will go home with their very own snowman masterpiece. This class woudl make a great kids for any children on your list. Appropriate ages are 6-12. Projects designed specifically for teens ages 13-17... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week (Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm) and then having a "showcase" party on Friday July 31st from 12-2pm to show off what the teens have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

Drone Science Remote Control (RC) and Drone technology is the future! Landing rovers on planets, drones in the skies today or robotic assembly systems, all have similar technologies in use. Get in on the ground level now! Learn the basic mechanics and actual operational skills of remote controlled vehicles and drones. This a basketball camp for kids grades 4 - 8 emphasizing FAITH, FUN AND FUNDAMENTALS. Campers will be organized into groups and teams according to age level and ability in order to provide a positive learning experience. Campers will learn that the quest to develop as a basketball player "mirrors" the quest to develop as a Christian. Each day will begin and end with prayer. The themes for each day applying to both basketball and the Christian Life will be commitment, practice, growth and teamwork. Assemblage, painting, clay and cartooning are in the plans, with found object robot sidekicks, clay characters, marshmallow constellations, modern-art planetary canvases, and pod racer design are all part of this out of this world week! This boys camp is designed for advanced select and travel players that are 9 & 10 years of age and that are eager to learn the game of soccer in a fun and challenging residential environment. All players will stay in air conditioned dorms on campus and eat meals in the schools dinning hall. All campers are supervised by staff members throughout the entire camp program. Athletic trainers are available 24 hours a day at the fields and on campus. Evening activities after match play include availability to pool tables, ping pong and the camp store. 877-388-2651

This first-class soccer camp focuses on enhancing individual skills, building team tactics and teaching intricacies of the game. In addition to soccer skills, campers will spend time in our state-of-the-art 16,000-square-foot fitness center while working with Laurels certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to learn about lifting techniques, agility, speed, ACL injury prevention and nutrition. Participants will be split into groups based on age and experience. Coach Dennis Weyn - Director of Coaching for Ohio Premier Soccer Club and Eastside Kickers, Dennis is a former member of the U16 and U18 Dutch National Teams and played professional soccer in the Netherlands and the US.
