High School Ceramics: Hand Building, Wheel Work & Sculpture (29231P) - Cary Academy
Whether you want to learn hand building, wheel work, or sculpture, join us for a week of in-depth, independent study for a wide range of abilities from beginner through advanced. Individual instructor attention tailored to each participants needs will elevate your pottery repertoire. Ceramics 3 - RAKU! Ceramic Intensive - Artists Exchange
For two weeks, your child will be immersed in the world of clay. Campers will learn everything from prehistoric clay working methods, to the modern work of artistic ceramics, and everything in between. The first week is devoted to developing skills using the pottery wheel, sculpting by hand, as well as learning technical aspects of clay including where it comes from, how its used, how its recycled and turned into a finished piece. During the second week, campers will explore different glazing and firing processes including everything that goes into building, loading and firing a traditional Japanese Raku kiln. Safety precautions will be set in place so campers can have a blazingly amazing time! *This is a 9 day camp. Artists Exchange is closed Monday in observance of Independence Day. 401-490-9475

Summer Farmers 1: Farm Friends - Terra Firma Farm
Walk in the footsteps of a farmer for a week, and experience what it takes to be a good farmer and naturalust.
