Spanish for Kids: Summer Camp - City Hall Annex Bldg
Lots of fun learning Spanish by taking an amazing imaginary trip! We?ll visit Spanish speaking countries, explore the depths of South America?s jungle, outdoor play, learn to sing Spanish songs, dance to Latin rhythms, creative crafts and end our camp with a piñata party! Traveling Teen Camp (Jun 20-23, Grades 6-9) - Medinah Park District
Are you looking for something different to do this summer? Take a new adventure every Monday-Thursday and enjoy many Chicagoland hot spots! Past trips have included a Wrigley Field tour, downtown Chicago, museums, water parks, laser tag, Gameworks, IMAX, bowling, zoo, athletic events and more. Transportation and all admission fees to destinations included. One day a week will be spent at the park district participating in fun games, activities and guest speakers. Refunds will not be given once camp has started due to numerous field trip deposits that have to be made. KidzArt DISCOVER! Ages 3.5 - 6 - Trinity Christian School
*This class is for ALL students age 4-6 in both Preschool and Kindergarten. Kindergarteners have an opportunity to further develop their drawing skills before entering our hour-long KidzArt IMAGINE! class. Instruction is modified for each childs abilities. Limited to 8 students.* Learning about art and how to draw is like learning a new language with KidzArt DISCOVER! The ‘language of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show students how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Then we introduce them to the tools to do it for themselves. Much of DISCOVER! centers around teaching our young students to slow down, to focus, and to see how the world around them is put together. They learn how they can create recognizable forms from the ‘language of art they are learning. DISCOVER! offers our students praise, support and direction, while we ask for their attention and willingness to perform their personal best. This class focuses on process. Horse Camp - Week 7 - The Greenwell Foundation
Horse Camp is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session). This camp is the ideal setting to learn and discover all things horses! After discovering which horse they will be partnered with, campers are assigned to a lesson group based on their incoming skill set. Horsemanship is emphasized by allowing campers to saddle their own horse, help care for their horse and learn all about horse health. Riders will be taught safety, comfort in the saddle and control of the horse. More experienced riders will be challenged through the week with pre-jumping skills, some gymnastic exercises and leg yielding. Each day, each group will have the opportunity to ride in the morning for approximately 30-45 minutes after spending time grooming and tacking up horses. When not participating in a riding lesson, they will learn about barn management and all things horse! In addition to riding and working with the horses, campers will have the opportunity to do archery, kayaking, hiking, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Boys Basketball Camp - Gr. 9-12 - 1240 W County Road B-2
Join Raider coaches and varsity players for an unforgettable basketball learning experience at the Official Roseville Basketball Camp. Our mission is to provide a complete, in-depth basketball experience emphasizing the fundamentals to help boys in grades 3-12 to reach their full potential. The coaches will teach skills and drills that players can use throughout the summer. Camp will include team activities: Fast Break League, 3 on 3, and 5 on 5 games, contests and other fun activities to strengthen basketball skills of future Raider hoopsters.
