I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. It was more fun and had a lot of extras, so she was able to get the best of both worlds. The teachers are excited to teach and that’s why the campers learn so much. NFL Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp - Lakeland, FL
The Lakeland PAL Youth is proud to partner with NFL superstars Michael and Maurkice Pouncey to host the 6th Annual Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp on Saturday July 9, 2016. The free camp will take place from 8AM – 12PM at Lakeland Christian School, located at 1111 Forest Park Street. Boys and girls ages six to sixteen are invited to come develop their football skills with help from NFL players and coaches from across Polk County. To guarantee a spot, parents must pre-register their child. Registration forms are now available at the following locations: Lakeland PAL Complex / 325 W 2nd Street Boys & Girls Club / 1525 Martin Luther King Jr Ave Simpson Park Community Center / 1725 Martin Luther King Jr Ave Dream Center of Lakeland / 635 W 5th St Registration forms can also be requested by emailing [email protected] Members from the LakelandPD’s SWAT and K9 team will also be on hand. Aloha! This camp is sure to be a wonderful time and ignite our Hawaiian tastebuds! Campers will learn how to make kabobs, Hawaiian Pizza and refresh with an Island Cooler beverage. Campers will learn how to properly cut a delicious pineapple...do you know they can take up to 2 years to mature and blossom!
