Gymnastics Camp, Ages 7-13 - Community House
Girls will have the opportunity to learn gymnastics including rhythmic gymnastics with hoops and ribbons, tumbling on the mats and have the opportunity to learn routines on the balance beam, the single and uneven parallel bars and the vault. Lorrie Rousseau is LPRDs Gymnastic Instructor during the school year and now Lorrie brings her talent and over 25 years of dance and gymnastic experience to our summer camps. This is an excellent opportunity for dancers and cheerleaders to get in shape and learn beginner through intermediate gymnastic level activities. Space is limited! Arts and Crafts 3-5 - YSWPCS
This club will allow children to experience all media types of arts and crafts such as painting, paper mache, pastels, collage, clay work, 3-D modeling, etc. Children will learn about various famous artists throughout history. The Ultimate Science Adventure Camp - Old Trail School
Join us for a wacky week of amazing physical and mental feats. Blow objects sky high with bottle rockets. Design and test your own flexible roller coaster. Build and test LEGO® racers. Understanding Newton and Bernoulli has never been so much fun! Work at your own pace, challenge your brain, and solve a series of perplexing puzzles. Dog Trick Week 7 - Animal Training Adventure Center
Dog Trick Training is a great way to have fun with your dog, and it allows campers to open up a genuine form of two-way communication between them and their dog. Trick training also helps build confidence in dogs and their handlers; and the more tricks you teach, the faster your dog will learn each new skill. Each session will focus on learning a series of three dog tricks, with bonus learning opportunities for exceptionally skilled dogs. This session will utilize training skills and techniques developed by Kyra Sundance, a world-acclaimed Stunt Dog Show performer, celebrity dog trainer, and internationally bestselling author. Campers will have the opportunity to learn and practice advanced dog training skills in order to train their dog to perform tricks. Campers can choose to train their own dog, or they can work with a rescue puppy or dog available at camp. Dogs must be able to focus on their owner and work around other dogs. Campers will start with beginner tricks, followed by intermediate tricks, and finally advanced tricks. Campers can register for this session as many times as they want, learning new tricks each week. Spokes & Sports (Grades 6-8) (PM) - MA Lower School
This class will consist of daily bike rides to different places to participate in a variety of sporting activities such as visiting local parks and playing soccer, frisbee golf, and organized games. Biking helps both aerobic conditioning and muscle strength. Students must bring a bike, helmet, water bottle, snack and sunscreen.
