Holiday Break Teen Knitting Camp - Minneapolis, MN
In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. Wright Skills Girls Basketball Camp, Grades 3-12 - South Orange Middle School
Wright Skills Basketball Camp is a camp for girls entering grades 3-12 in September, 2016. The camp will focus on basketball fundamentals. Players will be grouped according to age and/or skill level. Activities will challenge players to improve their agility, develop their offensive and defensive skills, and build confidence. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, an evaluation and compete for prizes. This camp meets from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Thursday, July 25-28 and/or August 1-4. Players are invited to attend one or two weeks. The camp will take place at the South Orange Middle School Gym. This camp is under the direction of Jazmine Wright. Jazmine was a 4 year varsity letter winner at Columbia High School. Her team won two Essex County Championships, 2 State Championships, and a berth at the Tournament of Champions final. During her time at Columbia, she became the all-time leading scorer (male or female) and leading rebounder for the girls? team. She garnered All-Area, All-Conference, All-County, All-State, and All-America honors while playing at Columbia. In this camp from Youth Digital, campers learn key modeling concepts as they design their 3D model in preparation for real 3D printing. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a completed 3D model that is ready for 3D printing! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Campers will learn the basics of 3D modeling as they prepare to have their creations printed using groundbreaking 3D printing technology. During camp, kids master 3D modeling and design skills including how to sculpt, texture, arrange, and render their 3D creation in preparation for 3D printing. Session 1H - Voyagers - Camp Butano Creek
This is a two-session program: spend the first session experiencing intensive training activities with your peers. This session includes: discovering your leadership potential; enhancing your skills in group dynamics and communication; understanding the delivery of camp programs and operations; and traditional camp activities including a special outing. Voyagers go home on July 16th to rest up and return on either July 21st (2nd session) or August 4th (3rd session) as an Apprentice Counselor, joining our camp staff during pre-camp for final camp training and preparations. In your assigned unit, put your new knowledge and skills to work as an Apprentice Counselor. Voyager registration is not complete until the following has been completed and returned: camper registration; Voyager application and questionnaire; and three references. Final placement is subject to evaluation by Voyager staff. Spaces are LIMITED, sign up early! Preference will be given to Voyagers entering 12th grade. If there are openings after March 1, those entering 11th grade will be considered.
