PolkaDots: Fairy Princess Camp - Piedmont Community Hall
Come and learn ballet and how to be a princess in this fun and imaginative environment. Each week features an hour of ballet, themed art projects, games, obstacles courses and ballet story time and ends in an end of the week performance and the party! Session 1: June 13-July 8 (No camp on 7/4) - Summit Schools
3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for 5, 3 OR 2 half days of preschool. A small class size of 8 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps). These afternoon sessions are an opportunity for your 4 or 5 year old to prepare for a full day of school. These PreK themed camps offer a fun, engaging learning environment as we work on kindergarten readiness through different weekly themes. *Please note: Students age 4 and up who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The Ultimate Minecraft Camp - Winnetka Community House
Minecraft Coding and Minecraft Power Users, two great camps in one! Each day well work with two different Minecraft-based platforms. Learn how to code using the Minecraft ComputerCraft Mod: Working with a partner youll start out programming with a graphical interface and then evolve to text-based coding as you learn to program with Lua. As a Minecraft Power User, you will learn how to expand your worlds abilities using a popular game-enhancing mods. Participate in building challenges, learn more about Redstone, from basic mining and logic circuits to more advance circuits. Build traps, arrow launchers, faster rail systems and more.
