This course is taught by veteran Head-Royce Math Teacher Chris Davies A U.C. Certified equivalent of academic year Algebra II taught in an intensive six-week format. Top-performing Head-Royce students may use the course to accelerate into Pre-calculus pending departmental approval. Other purposes for taking this course include reviewing and previewing Algebra II as needed. (As with all summer for-credit courses, students may choose to audit this course or proceed on a for-credit basis.) Textbooks will be loaned to the students, but students must provide their own graphing calculator (Head-Royce uses the TI84 or TI83). Prerequisite: Algebra 1 and Geometry, minimum C grade. My 16 year old daughter loved the digital summer art camp offered in Atlanta. She wants to go into Marketing in college. Digital marketing is the wave of the future, and she will be one step ahead by taking this introductory camp during the summer. She is already asking us to send her to camp again next summer.... Youth Horse Camp - Ironton, OH
3 days 2 nights of horse chaos. 25 kids from ages 5-19, we do everything from the ground up. They will go over tack and functions, safety, ground manners, basic riding to advanced depending on skill levels. Students will be asked to step outside their comfort zone and try other disciplines. There will be games, and the occasional water fight. We camp in tents, cook out, and just have a good time. 100 per camper.

As told by a traveling troupe of actors led by the cunning and charming Leading Player, Pippin is the story of a young prince, heir to the throne, who is searching for his own corner of the sky. Pippin returns from university certain that he will find a fulfilling purpose in life. As encouraged by the Leading Player, Pippin dabbles in bloody battle, licentious and lusty sexual entanglements, and saavy political maneuvers, only to discover that true happiness is more complicated than he thought. With infectious tunes by Stephen Schwartz and classic choreography from Bob Fosse, Pippin is both a humorous allegory about growing up and a dark tale of the danger of false appearances and empty promises. Troupe of Players will be announced soon... Young campers will be exposed to wonderful childrens literature selections, explore a variety of art materials, create crafts, enjoy sand and water play, sing songs, play games and participate in a balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers must be able to manage toileting & dressing needs independently; and have not yet attended kindergarten. Daily nutritious snacks are provided. All campers should wear their swimsuit under their shorts for times of water play and bring a towel for drying off after fun in the sprinkler. Skippity-Do-Dah campers will delight in weekly themes: Week 1 – Blast Off to Outer Space!
