The Cobra's youth football camp is a non-contact football camp that cultivates talented young people in an effort to unite a community that has deeply supported athletics and leadership building. Participants of the Cobra's Camp will receive personal coaching from TN Cobra players and other former college players, and trained coaches. All youth (boys & girls) between the ages of 5-13 are encouraged to participate. We only have 100 spots; this event is being held at an indoor athletic facility and will not cancel due to weather. Join Jewish community teens from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Ithaca for an amazing weekend of Low Ropes, Sports, Leadership Training programs, and a huge Saturday Night Carnival! Open to all 8th-12th graders in the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Ithaca Jewish communities. $18 registration fee will be donated to a charitable organization chosen by teen participants. Minecraft 3D Adventures– Ages 6-8 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
(no experience needed) Think Minecraft is just a video game? Think again. Create, explore, and put your problem-solving skills to the test. Lets pretend youre alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Campers learn how to work as a team as they take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. There are two modes of the game. The scenario above describes the survival mode. There is also a creative mode where there are no monsters and you will be able to fly around and have unlimited resources to build amazing creations and buildings. Musical Robots - MacRostie Art Center
Art, science, technology and math! Troy Rogers is a composer, instrument builder, and educator whose work often finds itself at various intersections of art and technology. For more than ten years, he has been creating robotic musical instruments and producing music for these novel devices. He will provide an ensemble of percussion robots for the workshop and guide students through the process. Kits available for purchase but not required for workshop participation. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a performance that evening at 7 pm, open to the public, at MacRostie Art Center! Ages 13 – 17. 218-326-2697
Introduction to Sports Performance - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Participants in this session will explore and learn sport and athletic performance methods including but not limited to strength, power, explosiveness, speed, quickness, agility, and endurance. Students will be taught multiple exercises, techniques, and routines that can be useful in developing a solid foundation in performance training. They will be exposed to isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic muscular contractions. All attendees will be tested on several different athletic performance measurements and given their results at the conclusion of the sessions, therefore providing areas in which they can improve in the future. Coach Joel Clem is Brebeuf Jesuits Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wellness Center Coordinator, and Physical Education faculty member. During his time as the strength and conditioning coach for Brebeufs athletic teams, he has trained State Championship volleyball, soccer, and hockey teams. He has also trained State Runner-Up football, baseball, soccer, and golf teams. Coach Clem has helped mold over 50 Brebeuf Jesuit student-athletes into collegiate athletes, including over a dozen competing at the Division I level. 3175247050.0

This camp is for students who have some exposure to debate or speech activities, a strong interest in debating domestic and foreign affairs, or attended Intro to Debate camps. Advanced Debate Camp reviews the fundamentals of competitive academic debate while deepening your understanding of argument theory, critical thinking, research and speech skills. The topic for the 2016–17 national high school season topic (announced in the spring) will be a central point of discussion. 952-988-3463
