For those who haven’t been before, Family Week often takes some explaining. It’s not a “kids’ camp” or a “sleepaway camp”: it’s for the entire family. We share traditional camp accommodations: several families per bunkhouse, and everyone eats community style. During the morning, kids take classes in community dance, English team dance, and art, while parents are free to come dance, play music, sing, or simply relax. After lunch, families come back together, for swimming, jamming, playing games, and a series of great classes for all. During the week of camp, a community like no other grows, culminating in a demo day when everyone shows each other what we’ve been doing. Every evening, we come together to dance. While the family is the basic unit at camp, it’s pretty loosely defined: traditional parents and kids, aunts and uncles with nieces and nephews, or grandparents with their grandchildren. JR Elite Camp: For advanced players (boys/girls) aged 10-14. Sessions will focus on advanced technical topics, small-sided and large group tactics. The Living Earth Day Camps are a one-of-a-kind nature camp experience. We have been voted a favorite summer day camp for over 7 years!! We will spend the week exploring the mountains, streams and other wild places. Campers work together in small groups learning about the natural world, plants, mammals, tracking, birds, wilderness survival, awareness and so much more. We do this with hands-on activities, games, adventures and fun challenges. 540-456-7339

Little Chefs (3-6): Pack your bag for a culinary geography adventure. With recipes from around the world, preschoolers will be cooking a new dish every day using summer vegetables. Big Bakers (6-12): Children will bake yeast bread and quick bread, make delicious summer fruit pies and bake foods from other countries. The wonderfully qualified teaching staff at The Childrens Tree Montessori School have come together to create an interactive summer program to keep your child (ren) engaged, discovering, and learning. *Activities for children ages 3-12 yrs old *Full day: bring a lunch, sunscreen, bathing suit, and towel *Camp sessions are Monday –Thursday *Activities will be age appropriate for all children *Must be fully potty trained for preschool program *Highly recommended for new students *Program Hours are 8:30-3:30 or 8:30 -12:00 860-388-3536
