Through workshops, clinics, and private instruction, our comprehensive camp experience is designed to hone music performance and ensemble skills in a creative and fun environment. We know from experience that playing in a band situation speeds learning and creates “seasoned” musicians. Even relatively advanced musicians are amazed at the amount of progress they make when regularly playing with other musicians. Come in costume to enjoy Trick or Treating as we transform Homestead Village into Hogsmeade, the legendary all-wizard community in the Harry Potter books. There will be a raffle for a chance to win a free registration for Hogwarts of Fairhope Summer Camp 2017. Children of all ages are welcome. $5 charge for ages 3 and up, with a $25 cap for families.

Aaronson and Margaret Zufall-Roberts, directors Session I: July 24-29, 2016 Session II: July 31 – August 5, 2016 Ages 12 to 23| commuter and residential options available | performance sample video required for placement purposes only Now in its 12th year, the American String Teachers Association of New Jersey (ASTA/NJ) Chamber Music Institute provides participants with the opportunity to perform in small ensembles under the guidance of top teaching artists. Students participate in daily rehearsals, master classes, elective courses, special presentations, and a variety of social activities. Each session features a concert and master class with a professional visiting artist ensemble and concludes with a performance featuring student ensembles. ASTA/NJ CMI is open for participation to students playing to string instruments, woodwinds, classical guitar and piano. All students registering for the ASTA/NJ Chamber Music Institute at Rutgers University must also complete the Participant Questionnaire (/).
