LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Drama Club: Really Rosie and the Nutshell Kids - The Philadelphia School
This year, The Drama Club will be putting on a production of Maurice Sendak and Carole Kings REALLY ROSIE. It follows a typical summer day in the life of the Nutshell Kids, a group of neighborhood friends, including Pierre, Alligator, Johnny, Chef Jeff from the Nutshell Library books, and Rosie and Kathy from The Sign on Rosies Door. Drama Club meetings will be run both as rehearsals (starting with warm-ups, followed by blocking, running of scenes, vocal work, and choreography) AND prop, set, & costume design and/or painting and building time. Members will work together to come up with the design of the show and use club time to execute some set and prop pieces, as well as costume pieces. Club members will be expected to memorize their lines and work on their songs and choreography outside of rehearsal. During the first few meetings, members will get to know... 2155455323.0
