Do you love learning about plants, animals, and the natural world? Do you want a chance to get outside, play, and explore this summer? Our nature camp will foster a personal connection to the natural world as we become naturalists and adventures fro the week! We will study a wide variety of topics such as plants and animals, ecosystems, outdoor exploration, nature crafts, and lively indoor and outdoor games. Each day campers will return home with some new fun facts, a game they learned, or even a story about what they found on a nature hike. Has your little one ever wanted to be a Princess? This week is tailor made for them! We will learn princess etiquette, read princess stories, sing, dance and make a princess craft. The week will end with a special tea party where you can invite family and friends and meet real live princesses! Perfect for age 4-6. No class April 18th due to Marathon Monday. The workshop will introduce students to linocut techniques, the process of carving into soft printing blocks with linoleum cutters and printing with water-soluble inks. Monoprint techniques will also be taught for creating looser, more abstract images. All students should come away with no fewer than five images from printmaking techniques, and the skills to create more on their own with a few low-cost tools.
