Summer Camp Girls Empowerment - Skyliner Lodge
There is a potent seed within all of us that receives nourishment when we consciously gather together. The nourishment comes from celebrating the divinity within each pair of eyes that we behold as they reflect our own spirit back to us. This seed eventually matures into the unique way that we embody and radiate beauty during our earth walk. In this transformational week, we will incorporate the sacred elements of nature, mindfulness, and ceremony to provide an opportunity for inner blossoming. We will be accessing the ancient wisdom of our ancestral grandmothers, making plant medicines, dying fabrics, and weaving with natural fibers. We will be accessing the deep and profound stillness that allows us to be fully present and fully ourselves. We will be celebrating life through creating earth art and body paints. All the while, the girls will be inspired by one another in a safe and supportive group setting. Art and Craft: In this club students will be learning really useful art and craft that will help them get interested in DIY projects. This club will help them come up with great project ideas that they can share with their friends and also enjoy making them. Bio: Hello, My name is Soma Datta. I am originally from India and I have been a resident of Happy Valley for more than 11yrs now. My family and I love this town. Let me tell you a little bit about my family and myself. I have a Masters degree in Plant Pathology from India and an associate degree in Labor Studies and Employment Relations from Penn State. I used to work with Young Scholars couple of years back and had a wonderful experience during my time there. My husband is a physician and works with Geisinger and we have two boys. Sajal, 19 has graduated from SCASD in 2014 and attends Brown University and Rohan, 13 will be starting 8th grade in the fall. I am extremely excited to work in the club! 8142379727.0

CIT Program: Camps - BlackRock Center for the Arts
Have an awesome summer at BlackRock and be part of a great team. This is an opportunity for students entering grades 9-12 to earn Student Service Learning hours and develop great leadership and supervision skills assisting campers between the ages of 4 ½ and 13. Experience working with children and an interest in visual art, drama, music or dance is preferred. CITs must be committed to attending their entire session and take part in a training to participate in the program. Please select one of three MANDATORY Training Dates when you register: Sunday, May 22nd from 2pm-5pm, Wednesday, June 1st from 5pm-8pm or Sunday, June 19th from 2pm-5pm. Participants must be 14 by the start of their camp session and entering 9th grade. There is no programming on the 4th of July. Robotics and Game Design - Ethical Culture
