23rd annual Boys and Girls Grade 5-11 basketball camp traditional style with day, extended or overnighth options Camp begins on Sunday with check-in and registration from 12-1. Camp starts for all campers at 1:15. Day Campers should be at the camp on Sunday from 12-5. Monday - Thursday from 8-5. Camp ends for all campers on Thursday at 4:15 pm. The Specialty Basketball Camp was created in response to the need for a more disciplined learning program in the New England area. This camp is an intense session of teaching and practicing the game of basketball. Our camp emphasizes skills, preparation, and traditional aspects with our Positive Teaching Style. Experienced instructors will build on each players foundation of knowledge and skill and introduce our Advanced Techniques to play the game. Coach Hogan is around 24/7 for this camp leading every aspect from the opening "focus" of the day to the end of the night. Summer Camp Music Festival - Minnesota Members - Chillicothe, IL
The first Summer Camp Music Festival was held in 2001 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. About 1,000 attended the festival that year, and enjoyed over 20 bands on 2 stages over the course of 2 days. Since then, Summer Camp Music Festival has grown to more than 15,000 attendees, hosting more than 100 bands on 7 stages over 3 days. And while our numbers have grown, Summer Camp still maintains the same energy and family feel we had when we started over a decade ago. As one fan put it, “Coming to Summer Camp is like coming home.” You’ll run into old friends, meet a ton of great new ones, and have the time of your life. Almost tripling the population of Chillicothe for the weekend, Summer Camp creates a city within a city, and greatly impacts the local business economy. Artists that have performed at the Summer Camp Music Festival in past years include: moe., Umphrey’s McGee, The Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, Bassnectar, Widespread Panic, Les Claypool, Keller Williams, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, The Roots, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Medeski Martin & Wood, and many, many more.

Kid's Sewing Camp - Snohomish, WA
Projects designed specifically for kids ages 7-12... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week and then having a "showcase" party on Friday from 12-2pm to show off what the kids have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

Make NO bones about it; this camp is for the aspiring "Young Physician". If your child enjoys checking out the cool gadgets and models in the Pediatricians office, sign them up! Campers learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer! They perform hands-on experiments as they learn about brains, taste buds, blood, muscles and bones, check heart rates and listen to their lungs with their very own stethoscope. Campers will extract DNA and learn about genetics, test for germs, build spinal column, ear drum and lung models. Theme 3: Energy and Sustainability [Urban Infrastructure] - Wow Science - Voorhees
In this theme, campers will explore how people use and work with energy as they develop and apply concepts of energy sources, energy receivers, energy transfer, energy chains, and energy storage. Specifically, we will conduct projects and experiments under the following topics: sun angle versus heating effect, how we measure energy, a Rube Goldberg energy chain, hydropower, an electric circuit, storing energy up a hill, energy trapped in the earth, model waterwheel, embodied energy, lowering environmental impact, and the greenhouse effect. Under the topic of sustainability, campers will examine the importance of the environmental sustainability of systems and activities related to urban infrastructure. Specifically, they will explore the following topics this summer: planning a sustainable community, solar water heater, solar lamp, evaluating runoff in their neighborhood, local natural hazards, model a biogas collector, build a composting system, and conduct a sustainability audit. Of course topics and associated activities will vary based on camp cohort – junior, main, or teen camp. We will spend the latter part of the program imagining and constructing how energy and sustainability might apply in space. Week 5 Field Trip: Friday, July 29. Youth Skills Camp - Pete Maravich Assembly Center
The camp will focus on individual skill develop-ment. Basic technique will be taught and drilled: competitive drills will be used in the evening to further refine skills. Players will be grouped by age and grade level. The camp schedule includes 2 training sessions on Monday, 3 sessions on Tuesday and 2 sessions on Wednesday. All meals will be provided. Parents are invited to observe camp at any time during the training sessions. Overnight and commuter options are available. *Due to incurred costs to Tiger Volleyball Camps, any and all refunds will be subjected to a processing fee of $10.00. Fly Fishing - The Evergreen School
Fly fishing is a sport that teaches patience, improves motor skills, and fosters an appreciation for nature. No one can walk away from losing a five minute battle with a stubborn trout without a deep respect for the fish! Students will learn the basics of fly fishing – setting up their rod and reel, knot typing, basic overhead casting, selecting the right fly, etc. Discussion will also include the history of fly fishing, how its different from other kinds of fishing, and entomology.
