This S. T.E.M program provides an introduction to creative computing with MIT’s Scratch programming tool, using a design-based learning approach. ~5th ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP CAR SHOW and SILENT AUCTION~ - Terre Haute, IN
Them One Guys Car Club is hosting our 5th annual fundraiser car show on Saturday, June 11th 2016 in K-Mart parking lot at 4651 S. US HWY 41 in Terre Haute, IN 47802. All proceeds will be donated to Boy Scout Troop 504 to help them pay for camp and other trips and supplies. Troop 504 will have a free will donation concession stand and are hand making the awards to be given to the winner of each class. The winners of each class will be determined by the spectators' popular vote and there will also be a scouts choice award which will be determined by the popular vote of Boy Scouts of any troop who come to the car show with their BSA membership card or Class A shirt on. There will be a $10 fee for early bird registration or day of show fee of $15 to enter cars, trucks or motorcycles. The first 25 will recieve a dash plaque! Registration will begin at 9:00 am and continue through 11:00 am, Show and voting will begin at 11:00 am and continue until 2:00 pm. Awards presentation will follow promptly after 2:00 pm. Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 1) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Yoga Den Three Day Mini Camp - Yoga Den San Antonio
An exciting and fun-filled art and science mini-camp for girls ages 6-12! Fun and hands-on, campers take home an art project every day! Added state change and quiet times. Snacks included, must bring own lunch or lunch money to eat the restaurant next door. Instructors are role-model college students, CPR certified with years of camp experience. Animation Workshop Morning Session - Visual Art Institute
Experience an immersive two week animation workshop with artist Nathan Ratcliffe, a video game developer and creator and VAI alumni. This workshop will allow students to learn the complex, intensive, and rewarding process of creating a short animated film as a team. This is an amazing opportunity for teenage students to not only improve their concept of motion, but to learn technical and real-world skills. Soccer Boys Returning Varsity and JV Camp (06/13/2016-07/22/2016) - Centennial Park
MTWTH: 6/13-6/30/2016 and MWF: 7/6-7/22/16. Camp for Returning Varsity and JV players. The first three weeks will be on the field: technical training, small sided games, going to Goal, as well as finishing and fitness. The last three weeks will be spent in the weight room. Kite Creations - The Evergreen School

Wild Things! A Big Zoo Revue - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
The return of a Palace favorite! Filled with animals dancing and singing, Wild Things! A Big Zoo Revue is an inspirational musical trip through the zoo. The humorous and at times very touching lyrics, original and famous poems as optional text for each song and even science activities create a wonderful teaching and learning experience and an awesome performance opportunity! A variety of animals are presented, and every song has a different musical style – such as tango, polka, Caribbean, rock and roll, hip-hop, jazz, big band and speech percussion.
