Summer Camp - Week #7 Ooey Gooey Wild Week With a name like that, what on earth will we do? Throughout the week we will make some fun crafts getting ooey and gooey. We will make our own slime, play dough, and lets see if we can create a masterpiece doing some finger painting. As far as the getting wild part goes, we will have some wild relays and themed days. Crazy hair day and super sweet socks day will just be a few. As always we will provide a fantastic food Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before camp starts. Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Aspen Trails has a very special show for you and your whole Family on Friday August the 12th with Pato Banton & The Now Generation Band at the beautiful NEW outdoor amphitheater at Aspen Trails located at the base of the Grand Mesa a couple miles outside of Cedarede, Colorado. Come up the hill and chill with every month this summer for GREAT music, food and camping. Every participant works on a host of specific skills focusing on dribbling, passing & receiving, and shooting while being inspired by the professional players and coaches to reach their full potential. In addition, during every session, time is also spent on speed and agility training. This is our History 1 week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. Day 1: Alcatraz Day 2: GG Bridge/SF Maritime Museum Day 3: Oakland Walking Tour/Oakland Museum of California Day 4: De Young Museum (may be substituted) Day 5: USS Hornet (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. We return to Rockridge BART at 4PM for pickup or post camp day care. *Note: UAC will follow the schedule posted unless issues arise, in which case we will make any and all substitutions equal to the current schedule. 510-339-0676
