Being Jewish on Campus - West Hartford, CT
Being Jewish on campus can be confusing. Many colleges offer a range of ways to enhance your Jewish experience - but college can also challenge some deeply held beliefs, especially with regard to Israel and international politics. This program brings 11th and 12th graders and their parents together with the experts in the field for a deeper conversation about what it means to be Jewish on campus. Clark Youth Theatre Summer Camp Sign Ups - Tulsa, OK
Clark Youth Theatre will hold a series of summer Theatre Camps at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center. Enrollment begins Saturday, April 2nd at 8:30am. Each two-week camp includes classes on acting, dancing, and other performance skills. This is a great opportunity for children ages 8-14 who are interested in theatre and performing arts. Campers must have completed the second grade. The cost is $225 per session. The remaining dates for summer Theatre Camp are: Session 1: June 6-17 Session 2: June 20-July 1 Session 3: July 5-15 Session 4: July 18-29 Session 5: Aug 1-12 Classes are 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The camp also offers early drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:30 p.m. for an additional $25 fee. Campers must bring a sack lunch each day. Girls Rock SB - Girls Rock SB
Girls Rock SB! is an after-school music program and summer camp for girls aged 7-17. Girls learn either guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, and introducing: electric violin! They form bands, write songs together, and perform them at a local venue. They also get to experience a great selection of workshops, which include the following: Songwriting, DJing, Hip Hop Dance, Screenprinting (making their own band t-shirts), Zine-Making, Yoga, Recording/Engineering, and Martial Arts Girls Rock Santa Barbara! is an organization that empowers girls through music. Through music lessons, creative expression, workshops, group activities, and performance, girls learn self-confidence and teamwork.
